Abstract
Data mining is one of the key hidden gems inside of Analysis Services but has traditionally had a steep learning curve. In this session, you’ll learn how to create a data mining model to predict who is the best customer for you and learn how to use other algorithms to spend your marketing model wisely. You’ll also see how to use Time Series analysis for budget and forecast prediction. Finally, you’ll learn how to integrate data mining into your application through SSIS or custom coding.

La nuova release risolvere, oltre che a risolvere alcuni bug, introduce delle novità importanti per quanto riguarda l’integrazione di BIML, in particolare:
E da pochi giorni disponibile la versione 3.0 del Partition Management tool, compatibile con le nuove feature di SQL Server 2012, come - ad esempio - il ColumnStore index.
Per chi non lo conoscesse, il tool, a riga di comando, aiuta ad automatizzare al massimo la gestione delle partizioni in SQL Server, ed e’ molto comodo da integrare in package SSIS per il caricamento di un DWH.
